The solution of Question number 13 of Admission of a Partner chapter 3 of DK Goel Class 12 CBSE (2024-25)
Q. 13 (A), Saurabh and Gaurav are equal partners. They admit Chunmun as a partner in their firm and the new ratio of all the three has been decided upon as 4 : 3 : 2. Find the sacrificing ratio.

Q. 13 (B). A, B and C share profit and losses in the ratio of 3 : 2 : 1. Upon admission of D, they agreed to share as follows:
(i) 4 : 4 : 2 : 2
(ii) 2 : 4 : 2 : 3
Calculate sacrificing ratios.
[Ans. (i) Only A sacrifices = 1/6; (ii) Only A sacrifices = 2/6.]
