Solution to Question number 8 of the Retirement of Partner Chapter of TS Grewal Book ISC Board 2026-27 session?

Jeet, Bhagat, Yuvraj and Bharat are partners sharing profits in the ratio of 4 : 3 : 2 : 1. Jeet retires from the firm. Bharat is to take 1/3rd of Jeet’s share and Yuvraj is to take the balance. Bhagat’s share of profit is not to change. Calculate gaining ratio and new profit sharing ratio.
