Q. 21. The Current ratio and Liquid ratio of Vishu Ltd. are 2.5: 1 and 1.2 : 1 respectively. Calculate Liquid Assets and Current Liabilities if there is Inventory (including Loose tools of *30,000) of *6,62,000 and Prepaid Expenses of 18,000.

[Ans.] Current Assets 12,50,000; Current Liabilities 5,00,000 Liquid Assets ₹6,00,000.]

Q. 22(A). Current Assets ₹ 85,000; Inventory ₹ 22,000; Prepaid Expenses ₹ 3,000; Working Capital ₹ 45,000. Calculate Quick Ratio.

Solution:-

Q. 24. The ratio of Current Assets (₹ 32,00,000) to Current Liabilities (₹ 20,00,000) is 1.6 : 1. The accountant of the firm is interested in maintaining a Current Ratio of 2 : 1, by paying off a part of the Current Liabilities. Compute the amount of the Current Liabilities that should be paid, so that the Current Ratio at the level 2 : 1 may be maintained.

[Ans. Current Liabilities to the extent of ₹ 8,00,000 should be paid to achieve the Current Ratio at the level of 2 : 1]
