See, as per the New Education Policy, the Government of India in 2021 decided to conduct a common entrance test to take admission in an undergraduate and post-graduate program in Central Universities.

Difference between CUCET and DUCET
At present, the Delhi university is considering to list itself under CUCET conducted by NTA. But if not possible it would conduct its own personal Entrance Exam for UG and PG courses at its level. It would be called Delhi University Common Entrance Test.
When CUCET in DU will be introduced
However, the Education Department of India, authorized NTA (National Testing Agency) to conduct CUCET in 2021.
But due to the covid situation, DU did not participate in the CUCET.
But for 2022 undergraduate and post-graduate programs, DU on 20 December 2021 has announced through a public notification that it is going to conduct CUCET.
What is the Syllabus of DUCET for 2022
See, at present, there is no formal information about the syllabus.
But vice-Chancellor of DU has hinted that the CUCET would consist of two sections.
1st Section would be common to all candidates irrespective of the course they are opting for.

Section – 2
It means the questions from your class 12th subjects would be asked and students would be having the choice to choose the subjects.
Commerce Students can be asked about accountancy, economics, and Business studies.
Science students can be asked questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Maths
Arts Students may be given questions from Political Science, History, Geography, Economics and from other concern humanities subjects.
When DUCET would be conducted
The DUCET for 2022 would be conducted just after 1 month of the final examination of class 12 of CBSE and ISC Board.
What is the Eligibility Criteria for CUCET/DUCET
At present, there is no official announcement. But there would be a minimum percentage requirement. That would defer from subject to subject.
It may be by 45% to 50%.
